There’s no doubt that WordPress makes inbound marketing incredibly easy and intuitive. With its wealth of plugins available to you that do pretty much everything under the sun and its easy and intuitive user interface, it’s easy to see why WordPress has become so popular for building websites and keeping up with your business blogging activities. But just because it’s easy, doesn’t mean you can’t still make mistakes.
Fortunately, Copyblogger put together a great infographic outlining 15 common WordPress user mistakes that only serve to make you look silly. Eliminating and correcting these mistakes on your own WordPress installation will go a long way toward keeping the “silly” label at bay – after all, what business wants to be thought of as silly?
As you browse the list in the infographic (warning: it’s long, so be prepared to do a bit of scrolling), pay particular attention to #7, #14, and #15. I found these to be the most interesting because they are simple mistakes that not only make you look silly, but compromise your WordPress site’s security, which is a major no-no if you’re running a site for a business.
